St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (1774–1821)
Fundraising: As a convert in a poor and often hostile environment, her ability to open and sustain schools was entirely dependent on the charitable support and donations she was able to garner from friends, bishops, and local communities. Her establishment of this system set the precedent for nearly every subsequent Catholic bishop to call for and raise funds for parochial schools.

St. John Bosco (1815–1888)
"For you I study, for you I work, for you I live, for you I am ready to give even my life." — St. John Bosco
Fundraising: Don Bosco was a tireless and highly successful fundraiser. His entire mission was funded by donations, appeals, and contributions from benefactors, clergy, and the laity. He was constantly traveling, writing, and campaigning to raise the money needed to house, feed, and educate the thousands of children who flocked to him. His life was a constant exercise in encouraging others to donate

St. Katharine Drexel (1858–1955)
Fundraising and Donation: Mother Drexel was a massive donor herself, spending millions of her inherited fortune (before the 1950s) to build and staff over 50 missions and schools across the United States. She was a living example of sacrificial donation.
